Hi, I’m Mary

Reflecting on suffering and sanctification, as life is a cycle of weeping and rejoicing, testifying to the goodness of God.

I'm a wife and mother and a host of other things. My husband and I have six kids, four adopted from difficult circumstances, and one daughter in heaven. We have seen God's goodness in a lot of struggle and sorrow and know the lonely place that suffering can be. Our life verse is Psalm 30:5, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning."

So, even though I know those times of weeping may last for way more than a single night, morning will come. And when it does, the Lord's mercies will come with it, new once again. It is the faithfulness of God that has brought my family through many a long night, so I invite you to come along with me as I consider the morning.
